Advocating for Meaningful Progress
At Olivez Advocacy, we make special education easy: we are efficient, collaborative, and effective at helping parents and providers understand the process, monitor learner progress, reach agreements, and communicate through misunderstandings.
Our 40+ years of lived experiences as parents and providers of learners with special needs gives us an edge that is compassionate and controlled.
When applicable we refer families to exercise their rights to legal services and processes.
Early Childhood - Early Intervention
We observe little learners to discover strengths and needs across all domain areas: speech and language, social-emotional, social skills, early literacy and academics, motor and function, adaptive and life skills.
We transfer our individualized learner observations, record reviews, data and research, and provider insights into practical and useful information that the parents and providers can use to support learner growth.
Secondary and Transition
We observe learners in the classroom, gathering evidence of strengths and needs to help prepare individualized education plans, academic enrichment plans, and accomodations for elementary, middle school, high school, and post-secondary pathways.
We collaborate with transition specialists on transition goals and services for students with special needs to be ready for community and independence.
